hdv trio Programm

For more than two years the HDV Trio caught the attention of the Austrian jazz scene, and since winning the international jazz competition “New Generation 06” in Straubing (GER), where they suceeded against 60 competitors, their name has also spread internationally.
Their debut CD “Celebrating Modern Genius” has been released on the german label “Doublemoon Records” in cooperation with “Jazzthing” – the biggest german jazz magazine.
With their program, they are celebrating important personalities of the 20th century, by now honoring more than 30 “geniuses” and paying homage to personalities like Thelonius Monk, Erich Fried, Salvador Dali to name a few.
